I can't remember when the earth turned slowly...

9. Glee :]
10. Co-workers who appreciate me
11. Thursdays that are more like Fridays
12. Love. Weddings. Family.
13. Autumn in NY. Family, always family.
14. Being able to sit and not move.

It's been another crazy week, but absolutely wonderful. Thursday did end up being my Friday, because mom and I headed up to NY for my cousin's wedding.
We left 10pm Thursday...and 14 hours later (and a bizarre detour though the Poconos...what the heck google?) we arrived in Saratoga Springs NY. I don't know why I thought I could drive through the night to upstate NY and be ready for 5:30 wedding on Friday, but I did. Hopefully I didn't look to rediculous.
Random confession time: I haven't been to a wedding since I was 3 or 4, in which case I was the flower girl in my Aunt's wedding...and if the pictures are any indication, I was not a happy camper.
But this wedding was just wonderful. It was my Dad's side of the family, who I don't see enough already, but it was just perfect. My cousin/godbrother was the Groom and he and his new wife, Tracy, just looked like the happiest people on the face of the earth and it just filled my heart. I knew I liked her from the moment she went "woo-hoo!" right after she handed her bouquet to her maid of honor after she walked down the isle. The happiness was just palpable and it filled the room.

I love NY in the fall. There is something just so perfect about it. My Godmother says that I was raised in the south, but that it's a NY heart I have inside. I have to say...she's got that one right.

Also, Google continues to creep me out. I used Google maps to get us home. The route it chose took us straight to Princeton, NJ. I had no idea how beautiful and perfect that little town was. Needless to say Princeton has been added to my list for (long-shots) law school choices. Dare to dream.
Then it took be down the 495 through DC. It was the east side of DC which I am less familiar with, but we went past the exit for Pennsylvania Avenue and Wash. Mo. stayed in my sights till we go out of the city. Perfection. Google you are wonderful and creepy.

Now, I'm back in the pines, recovering from my travel blitz. Back to grind. Being a grown up is still weird.
