This is from a batch of cookies I made a couple of weeks ago. The finish product went fairly quickly and I didn't get a shot of them. I also made a birthday cake, but I neglected to take a picture. I need to catch up.
That's what life seems to be about right now. Catching up. Catching up with work (AHHH THESIS), catching up with friends, catching up on life. Catching up with myself.
This weekend I will catch up on life. I will catch up up on baking (I have some browning bananas and I have big plans). I will catch up on me time. I will catch up with thesis and homework.
I've also caught up with my acoustic music habits in the form of a musician named Jake Coco. His music makes me smile, cry and think. Exactly what I've been looking for lately.
Dont take it for granted, this little life that you lead
for while there may not be glamour in all that you see...
To live is a blessing, to love is a dream
one day when youre older, youll see what I mean
and when you realize that life all works out in the end
you will smile, cuz youre not alone
